It’s extremely rare that I ever come across quality live footage of a performance or a rock concert that I attended. If you’re a Jane’s Addiction fan you couldn’t get any better than this! Enjoy the shows as I did!
I’ll never forget the first time I heard Jane’s Addiction’s funky and bombastic music loudly pumping out of the PA Speakers before an awesome Living Color concert at Stony Brook University while back in high school in Stony Brook, NY on February 23, 1991.
Fast forward six years, and lo and behold I got to meet all of the guys, Perry Farrell (Lead Vocals), Dave Navarro (Guitar), Stephen Perkins (Drums), and Flea (Base Guitar) at Howard Stern’s Private Party when they played outside The Theater at Madison Square Garden on West 31st Street at the Howard Stern: Private Parts Movie Premiere on February 27, 1997. What a cool bunch of guys, and awesome musicians! And yes, I would’ve much preferred to been on the stage performing and playing drums with them, at the time front row was all-good with me.
Only eight months later and scoring two tickets to Jane’s Addiction at the Hammerstein Ballroom, 311 West 34th Street, New York City – Halloween, October 31, 1997. If you want to see a great show and what the 1990s New York music scene was all about feel free to check out MTV’s Pro Shot Master [Full Concert] footage, make sure you turn it up LOUD.

Paiste: 2002 Classic Black Big Beat Cymbals Logo
Also I’d LOVE to see the original classic 2002’s silkscreened logo in BLACK just like the cool ‘Big Beat’ cymbals logo, and NOT the dated big red square logo. I like to see the 2002 go back to their original classic roots and go back to small classic All-Black logo. Just like the classy 30th Anniversary Special Edition 2002 John Bonham 1970’s Cymbals Set Paiste re-issued in 2001. The large red square logo is totally dated and completely detracts from the beauty of the cymbals. I’ve been requesting going back to the classic logo design for years! Less is MORE!
