This is not commercial music in my opinion but I LOVE IT! This is really spiritual with an organic traditional vibe, winter in music form. This is exactly to me what the winter season is. A quite calm with solitude and the winds blowing through the leaves less trees, a cup of hot herbal tea and the clean white beauty of fresh snow. This is not a Christmas album but I do have some favorite Christmas songs; Elvis’s: Blue Christmas, A Charlie Brown Christmas: My Little Drum, Bing Crosby and David Bowie: Peace on Earth/The Little Drummer Boy, Band Aid: Do They Know Its Christmas, RUN DMC’s: Christmas In Hollis, Lou Monte: Dominick the Donkey, Paul Soles: We’re a Couple Of Misfits, and all the classics from Bing Crosby, Nat ‘King’ Cole.

Well if you really like Sting’s and The Police’s music as I do, you may be disappointed, but I wasn’t. My favorite track is 11: Balulalow, it sounds just like the winter winds and the precision trumpet machine Chris Botti plays on it as well. I will be breaking out this CD every late November.
